Healthy-ish Popcorn Bars! By Anna Hammersley

Makes | 10 bars

Preparation time | 15 minutes

Cooking time | 25 mins

 

Equipment:

2 Bowls

Electric whisk

Tray

Will power to not eat all the popcorn while making

 

Ingredients:

100g of rolled oats

1 egg & 2 egg whites

1 tablespoon flax seed

A handful of pumpkin seeds & dried berries

1 shed of Pecan Pie gourmet popcorn

1 Teaspoon of vanilla essence

1 bar of dark chocolate to drizzle 🍫

 

Method: 

Mix up all your dried chopped ingredients (oats, flax seed, nuts, dried fruit) in a medium bowl.

In a separate bowl whisk up the eggs and egg whites. 

Add  dry mixture to whisked egg mixture and mix together thoroughly.  

Pour mixture into a non-stick tray or grease proofed tray. Flatten down mixture and top with Popcorn Shed’s Pecan Pie popcorn

Bake in the oven on 180 / gas mark 4 for 25 mins

Take the tray out of the oven and let cool. Optional: add melted chocolate.

Once cooled chop up into bars!
