When isn’t it time for chocolate popcorn mousse pots?
Makes | Chocolate Mousse pots for 4
Preparation time | 20 minutes
Setting time | 1 hour
200g dark chocolate
3 large eggs, separated
1 Shed of Popcorn Shed’s Pecan pie gourmet popcorn
Break up the dark chocolate into small pieces.
Place the chocolate into a heatproof bowl and heat over a saucepan of gently simmering water until the chocolate melts.
While chocolate is melting separate the egg whites from the egg yolks.
Once the chocolate is melted let it cool for a few minutes and then stir in the egg yolk.
In a separate bowl whisk the egg whites until they are at the soft-peaks stage.
Fold in a tablespoon at a time of the egg whites into the chocolate and yolk mixture. Make sure you do this You gently to ensure the air is retained.
Once fully incorporated divide the mixture into serving bowls and place into fridge until set.
Serve, enjoy and impress!
