Sometimes, in the midst of well, life, we forget how important it is to take care of ourselves. No worries now, Popcorn Shed have got your back! We’ve compiled a list of a variety of tasks and activities you can do to take care of yourself, in the comfort of your own home.
Bath Bombs
Are you feeling absolutely knackered after a long day of work? If so, buy a fun bath bomb! Upgrade your baths and have a self-care moment (or day) to treat yourself. This is a great way to destress and forget about the world for a bit. There are so many fun colours, designs and aMAIZEing scents available that are sure to brighten up your day. Not only that, but many bath bombs have ingredients that help soften and smooth out your skin. It’s a simple way to add a little fun in your self-care routine and have you feeling refreshed and ready to take on the day!
Fluffy Throw
The weather is still quite cold and it’s time to bring out your favourite throw or buy one if you don’t have one yet. We think these are pretty essential in life and you can never have too many!! Bundle up and catch a new film from the comfort of your home. It’s a great thing to have in your home to relax and be wrapped up in a bundle of warmth. Wear your throw, have a cup of tea and you’ll be ready for wherever the day takes you.
Candles
Adding a few candles in your home is a great way to relax. You can personalise it and pick something you love with a brilliant smell! As we are entering Spring soon, there are some lovely fresh scents available, but we're perfectly fine with the wintery ones with lots of spices too! Light up your favourite candle(s), grab some popcorn and relax!
Try news snacks and treat yourself
Trying something new is exciting and an easy way to brighten your day! Go to your local supermarket and buy a new snack you’ve been craving, but never bought before! Another fun thing to do is close your eyes, walk down the aisle and stop randomly and buy the closest snack. If that’s too nerve-wracking, buy a new flavour for one of your favourite snacks. At Popcorn Shed, we have plenty of unique flavour options to try out. Happy snacking!
Baking at home
Baking is a great way to destress and make some great (and hopefully very tasty) in the process. No matter where you are in your skill level, there’s something for everyone! We have an array of popcorn recipes listed on our website. There’s also websites that help you find a recipe based on your dietary restrictions, what course you want, ingredients and keywords! It’s a fun way to make something at home without having to go to the supermarket. You save time and energy while making something delicious.
