Review for The Popcorn Shed's Gourmet Popcorn Tasting Selection Pack (pack of 7) - The perfect popcorn gift.A snack pack of 7 different and unique gourmet popcorn flavour varieties which are light nicely popped and offer the following variety: Salted Caramel – salted caramel with milk Chocolate & toffee gourmet popcorn, Pecan Pie - Caramel with roasted pecans & toffee gourmet popcorn, Pop ‘n’ Choc - chocolate and caramel covered gourmet popcorn, Butterly Nuts – Peanut butter and caramel covered gourmet popcorn with peanuts, Berry-licious – Caramel & raspberry gourmet popcorn with a dark chocolate coat, Say Cheese! – Cheddar Cheese flavoured gourmet popcorn, Goats Cheese - Goat's Cheese and Black Pepper popcorn. The flavours are beautifully balanced not being overly strong nor too subtle. Each 24g pack is individually sealed making a nice snack / lunch addition. These are not cheap at around £1.40 per bag which is significantly more than my favourite Butterkist. All flavours are vegetarian diet compatible. Overall the nicest flavoured popcorn I have tasted in a while.
Gorgeous. My fav was the salted caramel and cheese ones. The least fav the chocolate ones too rich and sweet for my taste. Would definitely recommend.
Fantastic tasting popcorn - even the weirdly sounding cheese one. Proper crunchy not just air. Bags smaller than expected making them a bit expensive ( but my fault for not reading the description properly!) Even so would probably but again for a great
This is a nice selection of popcorn flavours to try, yes they are small ranging from 16g - 26g packs. But I see this as an experiment, seeing what I like the best and then ordering a bigger version once I've tried them all.I haven't tried all flavours yet, but so far I have had the Cheese ones which weren't too bad although tasted a bit 'powdery' and the Peanut Butter flavour which was really nice. Are these value for Money? Probably not since you can go to a supermarket and get a bigger bag of toffee popcorn for the same price of one small bag, But just see this as a bit of fun and some interesting flavours and give them a try.I like that these are made in the UK and supporting a family run business too. Good Job Popcorn Shed :)
Bought these for a popcorn loving relative. She loved the variety, quality and flavours.
very nice and like all taste.
Tried these immediately and thought how nice they were until I had one packet with about 5 of those really hard (teeth breaking) kernels in! So be warned and be careful when you're munching on them. They are also very easy to stuff the small packet down quite quickly. As nice as most of the flavours are though, the price is too high to get me to buy them in favour of say some delicious crisp snacks etc though. Additionally I should tell you that the 'Sweet cheesus', the 'butterly nuts' & "Pecan pie,' pretty much all taste the same, which is was surprising as one of those was supposed to be cheese flavour (i've not yet tried Salted Caramel but expect that will too). I also did not like at all the Berry Licious flavour, probably would have been nice if it was white chocolate but didn't think the flavour worked. So to sum up, if you're mad on popcorn and don't mind the expensive price then most of them taste lovely (although similar in flavour) and you'll probably be happy with them.
Taste cant be faulted but very expensive for what you get
