It's January and the beginning of a new year. We think it's time for a fresh start with new traditions! All through 2022, we will be posting a blog post every month about one of our delicious gourmet popcorn flavours. Because all flavours deserve to be in the spotlight!

First up: Vegan Butterscotch.

Butterscotch Gourmet Popcorn Shed

As it's Veganuary and we're still trying to stick to our New Year's resolutions, we think this is the perfect flavour to start with. Because let's be honest... Have you ever tried butterscotch made WITHOUT butter? Sounds crazy, we know. But we promise you it's worth a taste.

We coat our air popped corn with a deliciously rich and sweet caramel. But instead of butter, we use coconut oil to make it. This sustainable and 100% vegan alternative makes our popcorn just as smooth as the butter we use in our vegetarian flavours, but keeps it fully plant based. To top it off, we add a pinch of sea salt to balance the sweetness perfectly.

Butterscotch Gourmet Popcorn Kernels

That's how we make our vegan butterscotch caramel popcorn. It's like a magic trick! That's why this butterscotch popcorn is housed in our Circus Shed. Did you know every flavour has its own theme and story? Make sure to read it when you next get your hands on one of our signature sheds!

At Popcorn Shed we believe everyone should be able to enjoy our gourmet popcorn treats, no matter your beliefs or dietary restrictions. Ever since we launched our vegan butterscotch flavour in 2019 it has been one of our customers' favourites, and which makes us hope you'll like it too.
