Fun Activities To Do In Spring 2021
Days are getting longer, the sun is shining and UK lockdown restrictions are slowly being lifted. Is there a better time to be alive?! Spring might as well be our new favourite season! That’s why we’ve created a list of some of our favourite things to do in Spring. Let’s pop to it!
Organise a picnic
Now that we’re allowed to hang out with small groups of friends and family again, why not organise a lovely picnic? Ask everyone to bring their favourite snacks and drinks, sit down in a nice area (preferably a park or big garden), put on some music and chat about what everyone has been up to in the everlasting lockdown. Not sure what to bring to your picnic? Why not enjoy our Gourmet Popcorn Tasting Pack with your friends? With 14 flavours of popcorn it’ll be a popcorn tasting experience like you’ve never had before!
Go for a walk
We know walking might be all the physical activity you’ve done this past year, but isn’t everything more pleasant and generally more enjoyable when the sun is shining? Discover local areas or drive to a hiking destination you haven’t been before, set out a route and you’re ready to go! Don’t forget to bring snacks and a drink though, especially if you’re planning on walking for over an hour!!
Do some spring cleaning
Now, we know the words ‘spring cleaning’ might not exactly match your idea of a fun activity, but we promise you a fresh and clean house sparks joy all through Spring! Put on some music, open the windows and Marie Kondo all the way through your house, apartment or shed!
Redecorate your house or garden
Whether you decided to get on with spring cleaning or you’re skipping that step, we love redecorating here at Shedquarters. Out with the old and in with the new! Throw out your Christmas tree (if it’s still up, we sure hope not…) and get yourself a fresh bouquet of flowers, a new plant or some new pillows and candles to spice up your life.
PS: in need of a cool new plant pot? Our gourmet popcorn gift tins are perfectly reusable as a decorative storage item or plant pot. A sustainable option, AND super stylish. That’s a win-win if you ask us!
Though banana bread is probably the most baked thing in 2020 and you might be getting a bit bored with it, that doesn’t mean you should stop baking! Try upgrading your baking skills with one of our many popcorn recipes and delight friends and family with delicious homemade treats. If that isn’t a lovely way to start your Spring, we don’t know what is!
What is your favourite thing about Spring? What are you planning to do when lockdown restrictions ease or what are you looking forward to most? We’d love to hear from you! Let us know on socials @popcornshed, by replying to this blog post or through firstname.lastname@example.org for a chance to win some popcorn picnic snacks!
