What we're most looking forward to in 2022

With 2021 coming to a close, we’re gearing up for a busy 2022 here at Shedquarters. As we adapt and adjust to another uncertain year, we want to give you a sneak glimpse into our plans for 2022 and commemorate some of our biggest achievements of this exquisite year.

Twelve years since Avatar was released, Avatar 2 is set to be a big blockbuster for James Cameron. Let’s see what secrets the lost kingdom of Pandora has for us this time! The third film in the Fantastic Beasts series: The Secrets of Dumbledore, is set to hit our screens next year, so be sure to grab yourself some movie night snacks with these highly anticipated releases! 

New popcorn flavours

Yes, you heard it here first. To add to our fine repertoire of posh popcorn, we are adding MORE popcorn flavours to our gourmet range. We can’t reveal what they are yet, but sign up to our mailing list and you’ll be the first to hear when we drop these delicious and unmissable flavours!

New gifts for every occasion

After the success of our Christmas advent calendars and the letterbox gifts, we’ve made the decision to pop our heads together at Shedquarters to make new gourmet food gifts for every occasion. If you need to add a bit more pzazz to a Christening, or you want to really make a birthday to remember, we will have the perfect popcorn treats and party popcorn gifts for you to give to your loved ones!

Alongside these new gifts, we also plan to create new tasty experiences alongside many more sharing moments with the ones we love most. We guarantee you’ll find something you love this year at Popcorn Shed! 

What happened in 2021?

Despite the numerous COVID 19 regulations in place across the country at any given moment, it was evident that people spent more time with their loved ones, eating delicious food, and enjoying the beautiful outdoors in 2021 - and what a year it was! 

The new Bond film was finally released after months of anticipation, with Daniel Craig’s last Bond performance, we saw the cast include such names as Léa Seydoux, Rami Malek and Lashana Lynch as the new 007! A thrilling, action-packed ride with plenty of popcorn to be enjoyed alongside it. 

We saw England almost bring football home with the nail-biting Euro 2020 competition - with that we gave you our epic popcorn pairings guide - taking you on a journey across Europe at some of our semi-finalists and their favourite popcorn toppings! We also brought you our iconic popcorn and drinks pairing guide, for sophisticated palates and proving very POPular for festive celebrations, so check them out now!

This year saw the introduction of our gourmet popcorn letterbox gifts, which are all the rage with our popcorn enthusiasts, if you’ve not tried them yet then we can’t recommend them enough, with a range of delicious and nutritious kern-tastic gourmet flavours! What’s more, we’ve added a recipes section to our website, so you can explore your favourite gourmet popcorn recipes with ease and start making flavourful dishes all year round.
